At noon, we stop by your hotel to start exploring this city, you will visit the incredible Plaza de Armas of Cusco, where you will explore the famous Cathedral of Cusco, a construction built in 1560, where you will learn the history of the canvases that adorn the cathedral , painted pictures of the Cusco school.

You will walk through the streets of Cusco until you reach the Koricancha, the famous temple of the sun, from this place the Inca ruled his entire kingdom, you will enter the famous temple where temples dedicated to the deities of this culture are exhibited.

You will get to know Sacsayhuaman with an impressive megalithic architecture, formed in three platforms, with gigantic stones 5 meters high, each stone weighing 350 tons, carved in granite.

Quenqo is another of the archaeological places that you will visit, an ancient Inca temple dedicated to the cult of Pacha mama (mother earth), then you will visit Puca Pucara which was a military lookout place, from this place you will see part of the Andes mountain range and the valley of Cusco.

Continuing with the walk, you will visit the archaeological park of Pisac, on the way you will see great platforms that were used for the cultivation of corn and potatoes. You will continue to get to know the Sacred Valley, you will go to the bank of the Vilcanota river, until you reach the town of Urubamba, where we include lunch, in a fascinating place with a delicious Cusqueña gastronomy, delight of the buffet lunch, with a vast variety of Andean products expressing in a delicious gastronomy.

Ollantaytambo, is the last archaeological center that you will visit today, it was built by the Incas, a hill adorned with platforms, where you will climb a lot of stone steps, you will hang your breath to climb, the reward of being at the top is to see the temple to the sun, built with gigantic stones, from up there you will have a wonderful view of the other part of the Sacred Valley.

Keep exploring the town of Ollantaytambo, a living town, where the Inca architecture and culture that still exists throughout the town stands out. The first stop will be in Moray, a charming archaeological center, built by the Incas, taking advantage of a geological fault, the Incas there built an agricultural research center, formed with spiral-shaped platforms, it is a place where the Incas left their scientific prowess in harmony with nature.

Continue in awe of the Sacred Valley, you will visit the Salineras, the famous salt wells, with more than 2,000 salt pools, where salt is currently extracted in an ancient way. You will go along a fascinating path, between mountains and beautiful nature, until you reach the Humantay Lagoon located in the Andes mountain range at 4200 meters above sea level, formed at the foot of the mountain with the same snowy name of Humantay, with totally cold turquoise water.

We pass by your hotel very early, to leave from the City of Cusco (3350 meters above sea level) for 2 hours 30 minutes, for 102 kilometers, to the Town of Mollepata (2803 meters above sea level), during the journey you will pass through very small towns.

You will have breakfast in the town of Mollepata, in a rustic restaurant with beautiful views of the mountains, a breakfast with everything you need to gain energy.

You will return to the transport that will take you from the town of Mollepata, for 15 minutes, to the town of Soraypampa (3900 masl). This is the starting point of the walk, here we will provide you with a cane to help you on the walk.

You will be accompanied by a tour guide, specialized in hiking, who will help you overcome the path. The trail has a medium difficulty, you will walk for 1 hour 30 minutes, until you reach the famous Humantay Lagoon (4200 meters above sea level).

You will be admired, with the incredible view of the Humantay Lagoon, the mountain of the same name will be in front of you, so majestic and impressive due to the large size of the mountain that rises to 5473 meters above sea level, the Humantay lagoon will be at your feet, you will see with the illusion turquoise thanks to the reflection of nature, simply amazing.

You will return to the transport that will take you back to the town of Soraypampa, where you will taste a delicious lunch, then you will return to the transport, which will take you back for 2 hours 30 minutes, to the City of Cusco.

You will travel in a transport from the City of Cusco (3 350 masl), to the town of Cusipata (3 310 masl), the trip lasts 2 hours, in this place there is a varied breakfast (rustic restaurant).

You will get back on the transport, which will go along a path between the mountains, passing through small towns, where you will see how our farmers live, and their fields of potato cultivation and their animals such as llama. The trip is for 1 hour until reaching Chillihuani (3,887 masl), here the walk begins.

You will be accompanied by our tour guide, for the walk we give them a cane to help you on the walk, at this point the cold forces you to wrap yourself more, you are between mountains, the view is incredible.

You start the walk on a flat path with some not steep climbs, this journey is for 1 hour, along with impeccable nature, on the way you will see llamas, alpacas animals of the mountain range.
