At noon we pass by your hotel, to start the City tour through the City of Cusco. You will go to the beautiful Plaza de Armas, it is there where the first point to explore is.

First you will visit the Basilica Cathedral of Cusco, beautiful colonial architecture, built on top of an ancient Inca temple (Suntur Wasi – the great palace of the Inca Wiracocha). The Cathedral of Cusco is one of the largest architectural representations, with a Baroque-style construction, a temple that was built back in the 1560s, until the 1664s.

You will see inside, the wonderful works of art, Baroque and Plateresque, of the famous Cusqueña school, with original paintings, murals and altarpieces.

You will continue exploring, visiting the Qoricancha (temple of the sun), there is a museum inside which you will know from the inside, you will find enclosures made of extraordinarily carved stone.

You will leave the City of Cusco to continue exploring, where you will visit an extraordinary monument and one of the architecture icons of the Incan Sacsayhuaman, an incredible construction with gigantic stones. Built in the 15th century.

Followed, very close to Sacsayhuaman is the archaeological site, Qenqo a word in Quechua that means (labyrinth), where according to the latest research, they indicate that this was the last dwelling place of the Inca Pachacuteq.

The last two places that you will know, is the Fortress of Puca Pucara, a military construction since one has a privileged view of the entire Cusco Valley, Puca Pucara is a word in Quechua that means (Red Fortress).

And finally you will know Tambomachay a word in Quechua (place of rest), it is a temple of the cult of water, as one of the main natural deities of the Incas.
