Cusco Tourist Ticket

You can only buy it physically, this ticket is not sold online.

You can buy in these places:

• In Av. El Sol N ° 185, of the City of Cusco.

See on Google Maps.

• In each Archaeological Center that you want to visit.

Note: To buy any tourist ticket, it is necessary that you carry cash and soles. At the box office they do not accept dollars, credit or debit cards.

You will have to bring your original document or passport.

It is not possible, you will always have to buy any of the indicated tickets, together.

They pay the tourist ticket from 10 years upwards.

Which means that children under 10 years old do not pay any entrance ticket.

Note: Children must carry their original document or passport.

There are also special rates for students, to obtain these special rates, they have 2 mandatory requirements: be between the ages of 18 and 25 and have a physical university student card (you have to carry your card to buy the tourist ticket .

Note: The special student rate is only for the general tourist ticket. There is no special rate for partial tourist tickets.

Unfortunately if you lose your original tourist ticket, you will have to buy another new ticket, there is no option to give you a copy of the lost ticket.

I recommend that you keep your original ticket very well, never lose it.

Once you have bought any ticket (General Tourist Ticket, Partial Tourist Ticket), they have a start date and an expiration date, once the expiration date has passed, the tickets lose their value, without any option to extend the date.

It is for that reason that you have to be very sure of your travel dates and the time you are going to be in Cusco.

It will depend a lot on some factors, so that you decide which tourist ticket will suit you, for example you must consider and answer the following questions:

• How many days do you stay in Cusco?
• What is your budget?
• What places do you want to know?

It is not mandatory to go with a tour guide if you wish you can enter alone. The advantage of entering with a tour guide is that you will be able to know more about what you are visiting, than what you are seeing.

You can go on your own to each place, with your own means, without the need to hire a tour, you can take a taxi from your hotel.
