Start the day doing the City tour through the City of Lima, called by the settlers as the City of the Kings, you will see the Huaca Pucllana, a temple of cultures prior to that of the Incas.

We will be at your hotel, after noon, to start the City tour, where you will see the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, a world heritage site, in this Plaza you will visit the Cathedral of Basilica of Cusco, built in 1560. Note: Tonight you will sleep in the town of Machu Picchu, it is convenient that you carry a small backpack, with what you need to spend the night in Aguas Calientes.

You will leave from your hotel, bound for the Sacred Valley that is outside the City of Cusco, the first stop is in Awanacancha, a living museum, there you will see the Llama, Alpaca, Guanaco and Vicuña very closely, then you will make a stop at the Taray viewpoint, from where you will have a spectacular view of the Sacred Valley.

You will visit a beautiful little town of Pisac, where the archaeological center of the same name is located, where the platforms for agricultural use, cemeteries, and the houses where the Incas lived stand out.

We will pass by your hotel to take you walking to the bus station, this transport is the easiest, most comfortable and fastest way to get to Machu Picchu the wonder, the bus will go from the town (2 040 masl) along the Hiram Bingham road for 25 minutes until we reach the wonder of Machu Picchu (2 430 masl).

You will get up very early, the day of a walk has arrived, where you will have an incredible experience, you will go to conquer the famous rainbow mountain at more than 5 thousand meters high. A physical effort that will be rewarding with a great view of this natural wonder.

We will pass by your hotel very early, to leave the City of Cusco (3350 meters above sea level), for 2 hours towards the town of Cusipata (3310 meters above sea level), where it will be the first stop for breakfast (rustic restaurant).

You will return to the transport, which will take you along a road, passing through several small towns in the middle of the Andes mountain range, the transport will be 1 hour until you reach Chillihuani (3,887 masl), this is the starting place of the walk, you will be accompanied by our tour guide, who will give you a previous talk about the walk and we will give you a walking stick for the walk.

You will begin to walk along a flat path (Andean plain), with few not steep climbs, the height will make each step a bit difficult, however it will be comforting to be surrounded by nature crossing the Andes. This first phase of the walk is 1 hour. On the way you will see the apachetas, which are small towers built stone on stone.

You will arrive at the base of the Mountain of the 7 colors, from this point the hardest part of the entire walk begins, which you will have to climb for 30 minutes up a very steep path, which will take you to the highest point of the walk (5020 masl), from there you will see the very famous Mountain of 7 Colors.

You will take the same path again, to return to the point where the transport left you, the walk is for 1 hour 30 minutes, to the point of Chillihuani (3,887 masl), you will return by the same route in the transport for 1 hour until Cusipata, the lunch place, to renew energy and return to the City of Cusco, this journey is for 2 hours.

You will travel from the City of Cusco (3350 meters above sea level) to the City of Puno (3810 meters above sea level), with a distance of 386 kilometers, during the journey you will make tourist stops, knowing more incredible places.

It’s an incredible place.

Continuing the trip you will arrive at the town of Sicuani (3549 masl) there you will taste the buffet lunch, with an exquisite gastronomy, with local ingredients a great culinary experience.

You will pass through the La Raya pass that is at 4335 meters above sea level, it is the highest pass that divides Cusco (3350 meters above sea level), with the City of Puno (3810 meters above sea level), it is in this pass that the famous Vilcanota river is born that goes up to Macchu Picchu.

You will visit the Pukara museum (3900 masl), there you will see a set of monoliths and lithic sculptures exhibited, from the ancient Pukará culture, which was the origin of the Andean civilization. It is from this town that the famous “Toritos de Pukará” emerge, they are small bulls made of ceramic, placed on the roofs of the houses.

Live, listen to the Aymara language and know how the Uros live here, on top of floating islands, the Islands are made of totora that are aquatic plants, here you will learn how they manage to form a floating island, the Uros will show you their houses of how they live and to say goodbye to the Islands, the women of the Island will sing in Aymara.
